ABOUT PATRICK’S WORK
In 20 years of offering massage, martial arts and yoga instruction, I learned many very effective ways to approach the body and encourage it to open and relax. I have also developed a great respect for its preferences, capacities and limitations, which comes through in my work. I believe deeply in the body’s innate wisdom and its ability to heal itself through rest and time, trust and connection. Massage is one of the ways I offer myself in service to humanity and I am honored by each opportunity to bring my healing work to the world.
PATRICK’S BACKGROUND
Patrick graduated from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2001. Shortly thereafter, he studied with Amrit Desai, the founder of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and taught yoga in a local maximum security prison. He then went to Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2006 to get his certification at International Training Massage School, a widely recognized institution in Thai Bodywork education. Currently, in addition to his massage practice, he leads classes at Yoga 4 Everybody in Fairfield.

what people are saying
Massage hold thousands of years of lineage. It's one of the oldest medicines. It's as deep as food, as deep as songs, as deep as myths. Touch is as deep as any of those things. To have a culture of educated touch would be so revolutionary.-Jonathan Grassi
